March planets 2010 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 5
I dont think many of us have been viewing planets of late, but hoping the March skies clear for us to do so

Jupiter, in Aquarius, arrives in our morning skies later in March.

Saturn is at opposition on March 22, when it is closet to Earth, and can be seen in the Eastern sky

Venus is in the constellation of Aquarius, and is low on the western horizon after sunset.

Mars reached opposition on 30th January, but is still easily recogniized as a brightish red disc in Cancer.

Mercury in not visible for most of the month, then reappears just below Venus in our evening skies.

Neptune returns to the morning sky later in the month.

Uranus is unable to be seen this month.

Full Moon today and on the 31st .. the old Blue Moon topic

Equinox occures on Sunday 21st at 0432 hrs.
