Damn, forgot to put this in the email, but we had talked about a camping trip out to Ravenswood for our August viewing on the 7th. Probably stay 1-2nights depending, at the ?oval or campgound where Sue, Lex and Barb frequent.
Who thinks they may be interested in this??

Leave it to Sue for details on the site. As far as I know, its a big camping area, but no cabins, must be loos there though.
There is a caravan park up the road with cabins, I believe.

I have a big canvas stand up (fit 4+ comfortably), and three smaller ones for singles / couples if needed.

Great to see that a few have come on board the camping trip. Should be better weather by then.
Facilities (normally clean because we clean them) consist of Hot Showers, toilets, BBQ's (wood required), two local Pub's for those who wish to eat out. Local shop but mostly B.Y.O. Large oval with concrete cricket pitch to set scopes up on (wait for this - the cricket pitch actually faces celestial south!).
Could be a few Grey Nomads but they can be persuaded (not brutally) to dull their lights. Normally the offer to view, spans all gaps.
If extra tent is required, we have a spare (4 man, depends on how snug you wish to be).
Has a large shed (concrete floor) with power, sink, bench etc., (rudimentary) but will suffice for a gathering.
Small Fee - $12 per vehicle per night (car pool)!

When are people heading out ..... late Friday arvo or Saturday?
I havent decided yet, but may head out Friday arvo. How long does it take to get there .. .about 2 1/2 hrs??
Dave and Eileen are in at the cabins, and I may do the same thing.
Have done huge amount of cmaping in my time, but in for comfort and being clean these days.
Alas, my 2 new EPs should arrive next week, so hoping it wont affect the weather.
